Neal Signature Homes engaged SparkFire to create and program a new website, with the goal that the design would reflect the same sophistication as their homes, and the user experience would match the ease buyers could expect from their homebuying process. As an additional tool, we added a tailored web app to stay in touch with our most engaged home buyers.
The website redesign began with an assessment of the user experience and a new site map to make finding the neighborhood, home type and availability as intuitive as possible.
As we explored various design options, it was important to stay true to the builder’s brand standards. We used their existing logo, fonts and colors, but elevated in their application in type size, patterns, and color washes. We used the diamond in their logo as the inspiration for a watermarked wallpaper, while keeping white space for simplicity and elegance throughout the overall design.
The new website lets the beauty of Neal Signature's homes speak for themselves with full-width photography, complemented by inset vertical photos and large header typography for an architectural magazine quality. Here's a quick peek at the before & after.
To give active home shoppers a way to return to their search from their phone’s home screen, as well as to receive push notifications about new neighborhoods opening and available inventory, we added a progressive web app as an additional tool. More than 4,000 homebuyers have installed the web app within the first few months.
